In this course, students will be learning the culture of various regions
of the world. In addition to reviewing basic geography skills,
student will apply geographic reasoning to culture and its affects
on people, government and economics. Students will also learn
a basic foundation of religions around the world and how these beliefs affect
the people of that region and vice versa.

PROJECT: Culture Gram: A visual representation
of a
region/area. Students
will include information of 10 areas
of this culture and include
a drawn map. As the semester
continues, students will
be asked to include pictures, songs,
flags for their country display.
Extra credit is always offered
with this project.

Students are encouraged to bring in
material they have of
other countries and tell about.
